Patrick worked as a sports photographer from 1996 – 2005, during which time he covered many international sporting events including the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games. In 2000 he published the book ‘Running to Stand Still’ documenting Sonia O’Sullivan’s journey to her Olympic Silver Medal. In 2005 he left sports photography and set up his own photographic business in Dublin. In recent years he has moved into film-making and in 2011 his first short documentary film ‘The Fisherman’ (in conjunction with Areaman Productions) was completed with funding from the IFB Reality Bites scheme. In July/August 2012 his solo exhibition ‘The Road’ takes place at the Atrium, Department of Justice, Dublin. The work was commissioned under the Per Cent for Art Scheme.
His clients include Barnardos, KPMG, Red Bull, Irish Taxation Institute, Maples and Calder and YOU magazine.
